This pair of grey wool pants is the bottom half of a suit which belonged to the late husband of Constance Sheares, the donor. It was tailor-made at Sidi, Singapore. Constance Sheares is the daughter of Singapore’s second president, Mr. Benjamin Sheares (1971-1981). She was a curator at the National Museum of Singapore in the 1970s and 1980s.
