Jurong railway line sign

The Jurong railway line was built to connect the Jurong industrial estate to the Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM) line at the Bukit Timah station. The nine-mile, $4.5 million project opened in 1965. The line eventually closed in the 1990s.
