This very fine skirtcloth is made in the 'pagi sore' format. It has slightly differing designs and colouring on either end so that the cloth could be reversed. Tradition dictated that the cloth was worn with the lighter shade showing in the morning ('pagi') while the darker was intended to be seen later in the day ('sore'). It is of the highest level of quality and craftsmanship and would have been worn by a member of the wealthy or aristocratic classes.
