Green and white swimsuit with white straps

This green and white swimsuit is made of wool and has a fitting silhouette as compared to early swimsuits in the 1920s. The swimsuit evolved greatly in the 1930s, becoming more brief and light as compared to its clumsy and restrictive predecessors. Most one-piece swimsuits of the 1930s and 40s had flaps at the front to protect the wearer’s modesty.
