This is a car label given to a guest of the reception at the Singapore Constitution Exposition, which was opened on 31 January 1959 by Chief Minister Lim Yew Hock. The Exposition was a large event that lasted for two months, with the aim of commemorating Singapore’s transition from colonial status to self-government. About 450 exhibiting booths and 3,000 participants, including government boards, industrialists and merchants, participated in the event.
