Stamp featuring traditional Indian wedding costumes

This is a stamp from a set of eight jointly issued by Singapore and Korea depicting the traditional wedding costumes in both countries. Indian wedding costumes come in different hues of red, a colour that represents happiness and prosperity. The bride is also adorned with plenty of gold jewellery, while the groom wears a loose, white, long-sleeved shirt embroidered with golden threads over a sarong-like skirt.
