This artwork entitled 'Blue Clouds of the Night' by internationally renowned Japanese artist Fuad Kouichi Honda is a calligraphic artwork inscribed with verses from the Surah al-Rum (The Romans) of the holy Qur’an (30:48- 50).Fuad Kouichi Honda is a professor at Daito Bunka University in Japan where he teaches Arabic. He is Japan's leading authority on Arabic calligraphy and is known around the world as one of the best Arabic calligraphers today.
