This poster is for the 1991 film Children of Nature directed by Friðrik Þór Friðriksson. The film is about an old man who decided to give up farming and moved to live with his daughter and son-in-law in the city. However, this proved to be difficult and he was soon taken to an old folks’ home, where he met his old lover. Together, they ran away to the wilds of Iceland where they died. The film was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
