Mr Lim Kim San was the first Chairman of the Housing and Development Board (HDB), who was best known for his contributions in housing the population of Singapore in the 1960s. During his illustrious public service career, he held ministerial positions in various ministries from finance, education, defence to environment.Mr Lim was also a competent and ardent golfer. He loved the sport so much that one of his last wishes was for some of his ashes to be scattered on his favourite golf courses.
