This print (chromolithograph) by Austrian diplomat and naturalist Eugen von Ransonnet was published in his 'Skizzen aus Singapur und Djohor' (Sketches: Singapore and Johore) in 1876. A lone man can be seen standing on a path in a forest. Von Ransonnet included human figures in all his sketches to highlight the vastness of the landscape. The sea is also visible in the background.
