CK Tang Pte Ltd was located at 310 Orchard Road.Between the 1950s and 1980s, carrier bags were either made of paper or plastic, although the former was the favoured material up to the 1980s. Such bags without any handles were used to hold smaller items. The top was folded down and taped to prevent the contents from falling out.
