This section is opened to Surat al-Mujadilah (The Woman Who Pleads), the 28th juz' (volume) of this Qur’an. It is written in black 'naskh' and gold 'thulth' script. This section has 19 pages. The Qur'an is sub-divided into 30 volumes and is covered with a contemporary black morocco binding. Naskh is a popular cursive script for copying manuscripts and Qur’ans while the thulth script with deep, downward sweeping strokes is often used for large inscriptions. One juz’ is one-thirtieth of a Qur’an, which is usually written in 30 parts.
