This state document carries the seal of the Yang Dipertuan Muda of Riau-Lingga, Indonesia. The text, written in Jawi, bears the Islamic date AH 1310/ 1892 CE. The most interesting aspect of this document is the presence of the seal of the Sultan of Riau-Lingga, which is bordered by a string of Dutch words indicating the Sultan of Riau-Lingga, not an uncommon practice in Riau-Lingga.
