This English-style dining table was produced in the 1910s from teakwood with a dark brown French polish. It consists of a large oval top that is attached, via a twisted pedestal leg, to a rounded base supported by four intricately carved knobs. The fine details found at the leg and base of the table suggest that the manufacturer was attempting to emulate the furniture styles of the Victorian period (1830–1890).
