This headdress is made of wood and resembles a rolled textile tied into a knot with flared ends. It has cotton velveteen wrapped around it with gold foil attachements. The flared ends take the form of flat discs of iron sheathed in gold. This headdress is worn by men in special occasions such as weddings as part of the Minang costume.
