Malay Heritage Centre stamps

This is a set of four stamps issued by Singapore Post to commemorate the opening of the Malay Heritage Centre. The stamps were issued on 31 May 2005 and feature aspects of Malay culture and heritage. The stamp on the extreme left features the Malay Heritage Centre/Istana Kampong Glam (2nd Local), while the second stamp features the music score of Singapore’s national anthem composed by Zubir Said (60 cents). The third stamp captures elements of Malay performing arts ($1), while the last stamp features the Bugis ‘prahu’, a ship used by early Malay fishermen ($2).
