This loincloth belongs to the Dayak people of Borneo. It has a dyed blue centre which would be wrapped around the body, and its decorated end panels fall in front and behind the wearer. The broader end panel features elaborate geometric design in supplementary weft, while the narrower end panel has a fringe of tassel.
