This man’s tunic is made of handspun undyed cloth with appliqué designs in naturally dyed woven wool and cotton. It has a resist indigo-dyed pattern on the mid-section of the sleeves.These Miao garments represent two of the Miao subgroup living in South-west China who is the largest of China’s ethnic minorities.
