This image shows the frontage along Collyer Quay at the junction of Raffles Quay with Ocean Building seen on the right. Raffles Quay was built on reclaimed land in 1880, on what used to be the southeastern shoreline of Singapore that ran along Telok Ayer Street. Upon completion, Raffles Quay turned into the link between Collyer Quay and Boon Tat Street.
