The motifs include dragons, butterflies, fish and flowers.Calendering refers to a process where the surface of a material is made smooth and glossy by folding it into half and passing under rollers at high temperatures. The Dong are an ethnic minority of Southern China who live primarily in the border regions between Guizhou, Hunan and Hubei provinces. Dong speakers are also found in northern Vietnam.
