This is a photograph of H.M.S. Malaya and destroyers. H.M.S Malaya was launched on 18 March 1915 and used in both world wars. It was eventually scrapped on 12 April 1948 in Fastland, Scotland. Destroyers are warships used to escort large vessels and defend them against smaller threats, such as submarines.
