Formed in 1961, the Singapore Institute of Architects is the professional organisation for architects practicing their craft in Singapore. Rumah was a journal published by the organisation that covered various topics regarding the development of architecture in Singapore. This particular issue, covering the period from 1960 to 1964, contains rare photographs of various prominent buildings in Singapore such as flats, religious buildings, educational buildings and factories.
