Indian Independence League pamphlet

This pamphlet was produced by the Indian Independence League (IIL) in East Asia. The IIL was a pre-war organisation for the Indian diaspora in Southeast Asia. Their objective was free India from British rule. The pamphlet depicts British officers with whips and ordering Indian women to crawl on the ground. The inflammatory nature of this image was probably intended to win the loyalty of British Indian Army soldiers fighting the Japanese in Malaya and Singapore.
