Straits Chinese porcelain spoons

Porcelain spoons are commonly found in the Peranakan Chinese household and this particular set features the typical floral motif in polychrome enamels. The basic structure of the porcelain spoon consists of an oval scoop with a flat or slightly rounded bottom with one elongated end shaped into a grooved handle. Sizes vary in length, from the smallest spoon (7 cm) to the largest (15 cm).
