The centre of this cotton wall-hanging has an indigo-blue supplementary pattern with concentric lozenges containing hooks and smaller diamonds. Other bands contain diamond motifs woven in red, green and black. The bands are also formed by weft yarns of red and black. Such cloths are woven by the Tai-Lue who live in Northern Thailand, for use as a domestic altar ritual cloth.
