This blue and white porcelain bowl has a slightly everted lip and a raised foot. It is decorated with a floral scroll.Qing wares were often made in the style of Ming wares. However, the late sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries saw the deterioration in the quality of Ming porcelain due to huge demands from the imperial court as well as from export trade. Little experimentation occurred during this period.
