This is a grey pottery figure of a dancing lady with black and white pigments. She has an upturned face that is characteristic of such figures and a bent right arm. She is dressesd in a tubular robe which flares toward the bottom. It is thought that figures of such form fall into the unusual category of one-armed dancers found in Han tombs. These figures have their left shoulders sliced off. Some figurines have been found with an opening for the insertion of a removable limb.
