Red cheongsam

This is a red Indian silk sleeveless cheongsam with a nipped in waist. The flap on the right hand side is secured by press studs, while the zipper is at the side. The sleeves are made from one piece of fabric folded at the shoulder and hemmed at the sides and sleeves. This cheongsam was worn by the donor Chong Sun Wah, who was an air stewardess at Sabena Airways (Belgium Airline) from 1974 - 1979. She was required to be dressed in her traditional costume.
