This large beadwork with floral and bird motifs is decorated with an embroidered border. The colours and design of this piece are unusual. The lime green colour of the faceted glass beads used for the background was usually reserved as an accent for stitched motifs. The central motif contains pairs of birds, flowers and what appears to be a mousedeer. These motifs have been symmetrically arranged. The outer ring features motifs of cranes, and flowers in full bloom. This piece was probably a tablecloth for an oval table.
