This pair of curved elaborately decorated knives belonged to a group of brassware from the Raffles Museum's Borneo collection. It is thought this type of knives were carried by the women of Dusun and other west coast districts in North Borneo on ceremonial occasions. Sometimes a seed in the stone inside the handle makes the knife into a rattle.
