This is a piece of white fabric. It belonged to the late Mrs. Goh, mother of the donor, Mr. Goh Eck Kheng, who had great interest in embroidery and sewing. As mass production of clothes in Singapore only became widespread in the 1970s, it was common for women before that to pick up sewing skills.
