The postcard depicts a scene at the corner of Market Street and Robinson Road in the 1920s. Rickshaws, or jinrickshas, as well as automobiles were to be seen on the streets. The building on the right is now replaced by the Hong Leong building while the Tuan Sing Tower now stands at the site of the triangular space seen in the centre of the picture.
