朱有蘭 (Choo U. Lan) was one of the major sale agents importing consumer goods to Singapore from the early 1900s. This calendar poster was printed by the Wing Fat Printing Company in Hong Kong, which had a thriving industry in printing. The advertisement calendar posters, also known as yuefenpai, originated from China. It was an important form of visual advertising from the early 1900s.
