This calligraphy composition is written in nasta’liq script. It was written for the museum by Prof. Dr. Ali Alparslan, dated 2001. Calligraphy is an important art form in the Islamic world. The style of nasta’liq that the Ottoman Turkish developed took place in the 18th century.
