This distinctively Palembang-style bridal crown, with glided copper ornaments, features two dragons and three cranes, of which ‘Shou Lao’ (the god of longevity) rides on the central crane with a pair of attendants at his sides. This bridal crown was worn by Indonesian Peranakan brides.
