This jarlet has an ovoid form that tapers to a raised foot. It has incised lines on the shoulder and is covered with a dark brown glaze that stops short of the foot. Sawankhalok wares were exported widely in Southeast Asia at various periods. The Sawankhalok kilns in the Sukothai – Si Satchanalai area produced large quantities of greenwares during the 14th-16th centuries. Many of these have thick green glazes similar to the famous Longquan celadons from Zhejiang province in China.
