‘Golden Movie News’ was the official publication of the Hong Kong production company, Golden Harvest, now known as Orange Sky Golden Harvest Entertainment.Golden Harvest was founded in 1970 and has produced box-office hits starring Chinese martial arts icons such as Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan, directed by notable directors such as John Woo, Tsui Hark and Sammo Hung. Golden Harvest was the first Chinese film producer to venture into the Hollywood market with Jackie Chan’s ‘The Battlecreek Brawl’ (also called ‘The Big Brawl’). In 1992, the group built Asia’s first ten-screen multiplex cinema in Singapore.Golden Movie News usually featured behind the scenes shots of the latest films and write-ups on Golden Harvest’s movie stars.
