Purana Qila, the inner citadel of the city of Dina-panah

Purana Qila (Old Fort) was built by the Mughal emperor Humayun in 1533 on the site of the legendary city of Indraprastha. It is one of the oldest monuments in Delhi. This picture was taken by a British policeman who was posted to Singapore during the Malayan Emergency. The Emergency was a guerrilla war fought between the Malayan Communist Party and the British Commonwealth forces from 1948 to 1960.
