Black brocade cheongsam

This is a sleeveless black brocade (silk textile with rich figuring worked with gold or silver supplementary weft threads) cheongsam with motif of phoenix and flowers allover. The collar, sleeves, flap on the right bodice and hems are lined with pink piping to serve as contrast. This cheongsam was worn by the donor Chong Sun Wah, who was an air stewardess at Sabena Airways (Belgium Airline) from 1974 - 1979. She was required to be dressed in her traditional costume.
