Bullocks used to manufacture gingili oil

Bullocks were used to pull carts and helped to transport goods, an improvement from the hardcart, which was more labour intensive. With most roads still not tarred during the late 19th and early 20th century, bullock carts proved to be important modes of transport as driving cars over such roads caused problems for the motorised vehicles. Here, bullocks were used to help in the manufacturing of gingili oil, or sesame oil.
